CAN WE SETUP THE DAY BEFORE?
If there is a wedding booked the day before yours you will not be able to set up the day before. But you will have access to the venue at 6am. If you book a Friday wedding you will automatically get the Thursday at 10 am to start setting up.

ARE YOU AROUND ON
THE WEDDING DAY?
Yes one of us will be on the property at all times for any help or questions on the wedding day. We will also be checking in frequently to make sure everything is going smoothly.

CAN WE BRING OUR OWN FOOD?
Yes, you can bring your own food, we just ask that you sign an extra agreement so we are not responsible for any food related illnesses.

WHEN CAN WE SET UP?
Because we are a venue that books Friday, Saturday and Sunday weddings we cannot promise that the venue will be free the day before your date/weekend.

DO WE SET EVERYTHING UP?
No, we will only bring out the amount of chairs and tables that you need and where they go. You are responsible for putting them where you want and how you would like it set up.

DOES THE VENUE HAVE ALL THE EQUIPMENT NEEDED FOR A SLIDESHOW?
Unfortunately, no. You will need to rent your own equipment for slideshows. We do have an open wall that works perfectly for reflecting the slideshow onto.

WHAT AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR IN TERMS OF DECORATING/SET-UP/TAKE DOWN AND DAY OF DUTIES?
Willow Acres is responsible for providing a clean venue for rental, bringing out the chairs, tables and outdoor ceremony chairs/sound system. Willow Acres not your day-of wedding coordinator or mover for furniture changes between ceremonies and reception & dances.
Clients need to assign people for setting up and taking down any decorations, coordination of wedding timeline, communicating with caterers/other vendors the day of to ensure meal is delivered on time, hiring of linen and decor rentals set up and take down. At the end of the day we ask that the dishes are all cleaned, the prep kitchen is cleaned and the decorations are taken away. We also ask that you take out the garbage.

CAN I CHOOSE TO HAVE OUR CEREMONY ELSEWHERE ON THE PROPERTY?
We are flexible with the where the ceremony takes place, we have a few spots on the property that seem to be favourites, most of our couples use the space under the patio, right beside on the grassy spot in the trees and in front of our pond. If the ground is very wet the ceremony location spots will be limited.

CAN WE USE CANDLES?
Yes you can use candles but we ask that they are put in enclosed glass, we have a strict no open flame policy.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
In case of a cancellation within 91 days before the event date, the client with forfeit the first deposit. If there is a cancellation between 30-90 days before the event date the clients will also forfeit the second payment. And we will refund any damage deposit already made. If third payment has been made, we will refund that as well as the damage deposit.

ARE THERE ANY HOTELS NEAR BY?
Yes we are just a 10 minute drive to the new Best Western just outside of Morden.

WHEN CAN I SCHEDULE MY REHEARSAL?
We schedule rehearsals on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and sometimes Fridays. If you have a Friday wedding booked, you will automatically get Thursday for rehearsal and set up. If there is a wedding booked the day before yours we will schedule it on one of the previous days mentioned, there is a possibility of multiple rehearsals in an evening with separate time slots.

CAN WE USE FAKE FLOWER PETALS?
No, we do not allow fake flower petals as they don’t decompose or grind up in the lawn mower properly, and we are left with fake flower petals all over the property for the next year. You however can use real flowers or dried petals.
